Breathwork and positivity

Breathwork and positivity

Ice baths, cold showers, breath work. It can sound time consuming and a little overwhelming at the start. Full disclosure: I still haven't braved an ice bath myself! But you need to start somewhere. Here is a simple routine I do every day, and it only takes a few minutes.

1. Clear the mind: breathwork

Wim Hof is known as the Ice Man, famous for doing cold plunges for ridiculous amounts of time. He has millions of followers worldwide and has released many videos on deep breathing and breath holds. It has been a game changer for me. If you haven't done it before, start with the shorter breath holds and build up. Treat it like brain weight training.

Safety first: always do breathwork sitting or lying down, never in water or while driving.

2. Fill it with positivity: affirmations

Now that your mind is clear and you're ready to fill it with positivity, listen to this fantastic affirmations video by Bob Baker. As he says, say all the affirmations out loud and before you know it, you'll have changed the way you jump into the day. Enjoy.

My personal playlist

My personal choice of 5 meditation, affirmation and pineal gland meditations. I recommend Wim Hof, or either pineal gland meditation, followed by affirmations, depending on how much time you have or the brain freedom you are seeking. If you have time, do them all :)
